Hot Glue Egg

Dai-Riki High Carbon Steel #135 Size 8 (or smaller)
Mini Hot Glue Gun
5/16" Mini Glue Sticks - Dark Roe

All the needed materials.

Place hook in jaw with the shaft on the center axis
of the vise so there is no wobble when rotated.

Begin to apply hot glue to the hook while slowly
rotating the vise.

Continue applying while rotating.  Go slow and rotate
to even out the glue.

When enough glue is applied, continue to rotate to
make sure the glue is even, forming a ball.

When you are satisfied with the results, carefully
remove and dip (do not drop) in a small cup of water.
This will lock in the shape.  If you drop it in the water,
you will have a flat side where it rests on the bottom.

These are very easy and cheap to make and I find them better
than conventional yarn eggs.
