In
the spring we target the fresh run of Steelhead. Starting in
November
and right through May, these spectacular fish are running
up
the river to spawn. Once hooked, hold on for the fight of your life!
Especially
on fly gear, these mighty Bow's will rip line and run like no
other
fresh water fish around!
In
the fall, we go after Salmon. These reel screaming, line breaking
monsters
have spent the last two months in the 'Big' lake gorging
themselves
for the 'run'. Thirty pound monsters are NOT uncommon
this
time of year! From Labor day on for the next two months, fishing
is
spectacular!
We
can run fly fishing, Hot Shotting, or spin casting trips - your choice!
We
encourage you to bring your significant other, fishing buddy, or
business
client to not only enjoy the fishing, but also the many beautiful
sites
on the river. Wildlife is abundant with deer, turkey, ducks,
and
many other animals frequenting the area.
Weekend
dates go fast, and almost by rule, are crowded, so we
recommend
you book a week day trip. As your date approaches, our
guide
will have been scouting/fishing the river to determine the
best
section to float. Many factors are taken into consideration, such
as
water clarity, temperature, and water level. The guide will base
his
decision
on these factors.
Float
trips run nine hours with an break for lunch. The shore
lunch
consists of a hot soup for starters, followed by a hot selection
from
our menu.
