Egg Sucking Leech

Hook:  Dai-Riki#710
Thread: 3/0 Black
Body: Large Black Chenille
Egg:  6mm Plastic Salmon color Bead
Tail: Black Marabou

Start with a Dai-Riki #710 Size 6 hook
and a 6mm plastic bead.

Wrap .025 Lead Wire the whole length
of the hook up to the bead.

Lock the wire in with black thread,
crisscrossing the wrap up and back.

Taking two pieces of Marabou, lay them parallel to
the hook and lock them in with black thread, wrapping
from the bead back to the point.

Now take a nice Hackle and lock it in at
base of the Marabou.

Tie in a piece of large Chenille at the base.

Wrap the Chenille forward to the
bead and lock it in with a couple of
wraps.

Palmer the Hackle forward to
the bead and lock in with a
couple of wraps of thread.

Whip finish as usual.
